The European project CY-ESM (Cyprus Empowered Surveillance Mechanism) participated in the European Public Health Conference (EPH Conference), an international scientific forum bringing together public health researchers, policymakers, and practitioners from across Europe and beyond.
As part of the conference programme, CY-ESM contributed through a poster display within the thematic category “Global health, One Health and health security.”
Poster title and summary

It demonstrated how integrated data flows across human, animal, and environmental health sectors can strengthen preparedness, early detection, and coordinated response to public health threats at the national and EU levels.
Key messages
The poster highlighted that:
- A digital One Health approach supports timely, cross-sector surveillance and strengthens national and EU-level responses to emerging public health threats.
- for modernising surveillance infrastructure and enhancing preparedness across EU Member States.
